Designed by a club owner, for club owners

Strikee was started in 2024 by Joy Patel — a snooker-club owner in Gujarat who got tired of running an eight-table venue on paper chits and a daily Excel sheet.

Why we built this

We ran First Break Pool & Snooker for years on the same stack every Indian club uses: a register book at the counter, a UPI screenshot folder for payments, and a running mental tally of who's on credit. It worked. Barely.

The problem wasn't any single piece of paperwork — it was that nothing was joined up. The register said one thing. The bank statement said another. Half the credit balances lived in a staff member's head. Tournament prize pools came together on the morning of the final. By the time you reconciled a month, you'd already missed the decisions you should have made.

Strikee is what we wished existed. A live ledger that knows what every table is doing, who owes what, what the daily net actually is, and whose name is on the next tournament bracket — all in one place, on the phone in your apron pocket.

The mission

Give every snooker club, pool hall, and multi-sport venue in India the same operational clarity that a well-run modern restaurant has. Daily numbers that close themselves. A customer list that knows what you actually earn from each person. A tournament module that doesn't need a spreadsheet to survive a Sunday final.

Principles we ship by

  • Mobile first. Staff use Strikee on the floor, not at a desk. Every page works on a phone.
  • One source of truth. No double-entry between a POS and a separate accounts sheet. The cashbook is the cashbook.
  • Owner-built features. Every release scratches an itch we've actually had running our own club.
  • No payment lock-in. You decide how customers pay you — cash, UPI, card, credit. Strikee tracks; it doesn't take a cut.

Where we're going

Snooker and pool are the home base. We've already opened the platform to courts (badminton, pickleball, box cricket) so multi-sport venues can run all of it on one shop. Next on the roadmap: smarter analytics, customer notifications, and an online booking front-end your players can use directly.
